Digital Ambassadors

Welcome to the Digital Ambassadors area of the website

Digital Ambassadors have become an integral part of life at Hartford Primary. The Digital Ambassadors are at the heart of promoting how we all need to stay safe on the internet and when using any digital devices.

We want the children to be able to use the internet to extend their learning but we want them to do it safely and with the knowledge of what to do if any problems are encountered.

Any pupils in KS2 free to apply to become Digital Ambassadors with each class having at least two representatives.  The Digital Ambassadors are engaged in raising everyone's awareness to the dangers of working and socialising online. Past Digital Ambassador projects include the regular updating of the online safety notice board in the main hall, creating and delivering lessons on age appropriate restrictions, Fake News, Digital Footprint, use of green screen technology and other apps such as Chatterpix.  They also help in the delivery of Safer Internet Day assemblies.  Most recently they devised and carried out a pupil voice survey on Computing throughout the school.
