Owls - Mrs Glendenning (Monday to Thursday) and Mrs Rowland (Friday)

Falcons - Miss Bartley (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) and Mrs Richardson (Thursday)

A warm welcome to our Year 3 page! Our children have made a fantastic start to life in Key Stage 2 and have settled into their new classes brilliantly. We are so proud of their enthusiasm, resilience and growing independence.

We, alongside our dedicated teaching assistants, work closely as a team to ensure that all children feel happy, safe and supported during their time in Year 3 at Hartford Primary School.

Our classrooms are teeming with life and learning, as the children explore new ideas, develop their skills and build confidence in their own abilities. As this is the first year of Key Stage 2, we focus on encouraging independence and helping the children take more responsibility for their learning, belongings and personal organisation, all while having lots of fun!

We follow a broad and balanced curriculum, enriched by a range of exciting topics, hands-on activities and memorable experiences. This term, we are learning about the Stone Age in History, exploring colour and the work of Vincent van Gogh in Art, and investigating Animals Including Humans in Science. We are looking forward to our upcoming school trip to Beeston Castle, where the children will have the opportunity to bring their learning to life.

We are excited to see your children continue to grow, learn and flourish throughout Year 3 and we are really looking forward to working with you all. Please contact [email protected] if you need to ask us anything. We can't always read emails during the school day so anthing regarding pick up and absence must go via the office.
